I’ve been working on a new website built using Zola.

I’ve enjoyed using Astro for a while now but feel its not the best fit for my website anymore. I’ve looked into static site generators before but they never really felt worth switching too.

After discovering Zola I’ve decided its worth switching over. Astro is a very generaly applicable framework for many usecases and I would still use it for things other than my personal website. Zola has more features that I use and less that I don’t. You can read more about the reasoning on the Zola website’s post.

The site is up under zola.larsvh.dev but will sit on the main domain sooner or later. The site already has some content but its not quite finished so some of the content might be a little verbose, its a work in progress after all. The sourcecode is not available yet but will be sometime later under my forgejo instance. I haven’t decided on the license yet probably just MIT.

This website will remain up under astro.larsvh.dev because I probably wont be porting over any content and this website is still very quick to load.
